Well it's been a long time since I updated this thing. I realized its very hard to take care of yourself when you spend so much time taking care of your family. But lately I've discovered that if I take care of myself then my family will notice and start to take care of themselves as well!
So for the last two weeks I've been using this online tracker called Calorie Counter. It's amazing. Check it out.
Around Christmas time I went up to 202. I was really frustrated and I kept saying well it's the holidays I can eat whatever I want and I'll start my diet tomorrow, etc. But then on New Year's Eve after puking up wine and grapes I had a weird revelation. Funny right? Umm... if you've ever thrown up red wine then you know how purple it looks. Its really weird.
ANYWAY I have lost 11 lbs since Jan 1st! I put everything I eat/drink into the calorie counter. It adds everything up and breaks everything down into protein/carbs/calcium/fat/etc... tells you where you did good, bad, and could have done better. It suggest how many calories you should consume a day to lose weight, my limit is 1200. And my body naturally burns around 1900 calories a day. On top of that we now have a stationary bicycle in the house which I have been using 2-4 times a week for up 45mins to an hour each time. Pretty cool!
I'm really happy.
